How much ice will I need?

Size to peak day, not average: about 1.5 lbs of ice per restaurant meal served, 3 lbs per hotel room per day, and up to 10 lbs per patient day in healthcare. Add roughly 20 percent headroom for summer heat and bin melt.

What does a rental cost?

Rentals are quoted to the job — the machine size, how long you need it and where it is going. For long-term needs, our lease rate card shows monthly pricing with service included.

Can I rent a machine while mine is being repaired?

Yes. A machine that is down while parts ship is one of the most common reasons customers rent. Call your regional dispatch line and we will cover the gap.

Events, remodels and repairs

Most rentals come from one of three situations. An event or seasonal rush needs more ice than your own machine can make. A remodel takes your kitchen or bar offline and you still have to serve. Or your machine is down while parts ship and you cannot afford to buy bagged ice every day.
