Why does my Icetro make cloudy ice?

Cloudy ice is almost always water chemistry — high dissolved solids, scale on the evaporator or an overdue filter. We test the water and recommend the right filtration.

How often should an Icetro be cleaned?

At least every six months, and quarterly in high-volume, hot or hard-water locations. Ice is food, so we document every cleaning for your health inspector.

What should I check if my Icetro stops making ice?

Check the water shutoff and the filter head, look for an alarm indication on the controls, feel whether the condenser is hot and clogged with grease and dust, and make sure the bin control is not blocked by ice. If those look right, call your regional dispatch line.

No ice coming out

Water supply, filters, a stuck valve or a board fault are the first checks. We test the full cycle to find exactly where it stops.

Slow production or small cubes

Scale, a dirty condenser or reduced water flow slow production. We clean, measure output and correct the underlying cause.

Cloudy ice and scale

High minerals in the water cloud the ice and scale the evaporator. Descaling and filtration matched to your water test fix both.

Water leaking

Drains, troughs, fittings and inlet valves are the usual sources. We find the leak and fix it rather than treating the puddle.

Error or alarm indication

We read what the controls report, verify it with measurements and repair the specific component that failed.

Bin level problems

Overfilling or stopping with an empty bin usually comes from a dirty or failed bin control. We clean or replace it and confirm correct cycling.
